Sexual Assault Program

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and this week we’d like to bring awareness to the Sexual Assault program offered through KCAO’s Crisis Support Services. 

Trained Sexual Assault Advocates are available to support the needs of Sexual Assault Survivors. Sexual assault refers to sexual contact or behavior that occurs without explicit consent of the victim.  

We can provide support with: 

  • Section Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) 

  • Emergency shelter services  

  • Counseling  

  • Legal assistance to file Temporary Restraining Order  

  • Court Accompaniment  

  • Peer to peer support  

  • After care case management
