How does KCAO raise revenue?
KCAO is primarily funded through state and federal grants. KCAO also seeks foundation, corporate, and private donations to support programs or projects that benefit our community. Please visit our donation page for more information.  

Does KCAO offer Transportation? 

In general, no.  
However, there are certain programs that offer transportation when you are enrolled into the program. Currently The Barbara Saville Shelter and Youth Services programs offer transportation in certain circumstances. If you need more details or want to check if you qualify for these programs, please visit their pages.  

How do I apply for counseling services?

KCAO only offers counseling services to enrolled clients under Crisis Support Services.

Does KCAO help with purchasing Christmas (xmas) gifts for my children?
Generally, no, unless you are a Shelter client, or a Head Start parent.

What is the executive directors email? Can I contact a specific staff member of KCAO?
If you are looking for a specific KCAO staff member, please call our main office and you can be transferred to that staff member or their department.

I live in Fresno. Can I get help in Hanford?
Unless otherwise listed, KCAO services are typically only available to residents of Kings County, California which are the following communities:
