Head Start Winter Wonderland

This week, the KCAO Head Start Families got a once-in-a-lifetime chance to party at the North Pole Lounge in the Hanford Winter Wonderland! It was a jolly good time, with everyone beaming ear-to-ear and sharing the holiday spirit. Kiddos and grownups alike got to dive into fun craft projects and ice-skate under the dazzling lights, feeling like they were floating in a dream. It was nothing short of pure magic! 

They even scored a VIP visit from the big guy himself, Santa Claus!

KCAO Holiday Office Closures 

KCAO's main office at 1130 N. 11th Ave., Hanford, will be closed from December 22 to January 2, 2024. Some services will still be operating, such as the Barbara Saville Shelter. If you are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, or are a survivor of human sex trafficking, call the 24-Hour Crisis Hotline at 1-877-727-3225. 

KCAO New Briefs will take a two-week break and return the week of January 7, 2024. KCAO wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday!
